The piece interweaves a narrative of the respective cities, conveying uneasiness with ideals of home and the fragility of inhabitance while exploring ties to memory. A storage space, filled with packed boxes and furniture—either forgotten or ready to be moved—is assembled, leaving traces of a fleeting central character. In both scenarios, the space represents a point of departure. The viewer is invited to wander and investigate the space, from which a narrative unravels, presenting an unusual portrait of a somewhat fictitious woman; a tale of loss, displacement, identity, and transformation.
