London Design Biennale
Located on the terrace of Somerset House, a historic landmark on the Strand overlooking the River Thames, the installation was open to the public free of charge. It provided a rare moment of stillness within the urban rush, offering an acoustically insulated space where external noise and visual distractions were minimized.
By transforming silence into a shared public experience, Silent Room 2 underscored the need for quiet sanctuaries within contemporary cities.
