The film depicts a typical coastal Lebanese village. A father struggles to integrate his down syndrome son in the neighborhood. In a twist of events, he makes the inhabitants believe he is an angel. The film characters are first introduced as clichés; then they slowly unfold to reveal specific stories and unique personalities.
The artistic direction chosen was to remain very realistic whilst digging out the natural beauty and poetics of the village. It juxtaposes sun-drenched textures and faded colors, the specific and the collective imagery, picturesque spaces with simplistic decors whilst remaining always a background to the characters themselves.
